Nope, a lot of people draw touhou characters in the same font as cartoons putting curvy hips and lipstick on a female animal if you know what I mean. I think porn slaps, but most of it (in and outside of the fandom) presents the girls as an object to ogle at instead of a person enjoying themselves.

Sorry about vagueposting, but it genuinely astounds me how even when a Touhou related event centers minorities, the most popular submissions keep end up being insensitive to those minorities (even if unintentionally).

It's an interesting question, because while everyone else is a magician (species), Marisa is a magician as more like a part of her identity? I guess you could call it an occupation, but she's a shop owner, indicent-solver and burglar, all of which involve her being a magician one way or another.

Misogyny is as usual the root cause; all Touhou fans ever do is try to make powerful, complex female characters into non-threathening stereotypes they can laugh at and sexually objectify. Female and LGBT fans are absolutely not exempt from doing it, and it applies to how they approach shipping too.
