I have thoughts on the Man City thing. But fuck, it's complicated. 100x 6 point penalty and £35m fine? We're in crazy territory. It helps no-one if the punishment destroys the club, but also there are a lot of teams and fans who genuinely lost out.

I don't think I imagined it. I'm pretty sure one criticism of Clement at Rangers was he struggled to breakdown teams who went defensive. Hoping Maghoma and Makama help provide some solutions.

Also, given the rather bloated squad we have this year, a cup run is actually more important than usual to keep players sharp. Normally I couldn't give a toss, but this year I'm hoping we get a bit of a run in both cups. An extra 4 or 5 games could be a boon rather than a distraction.

I thought we played pretty well at the weekend and generally a pleasing performance. However, I think we've established Toure's main weakness. Thinking. Acting on instinct, he's devastating. But when he has time to think, he's hesitant and makes poor decisions.
