Congratulations to my mentor, Dr. Jon Skare, for being elected as a 2025 AAAS Fellow. Jon was recognized for his contributions to Lyme disease virulence regulation, adherence, and host immune evasion mechanisms and his dedication to scientific growth. This honor is very well deserved. Congrats, Jon!
