Male objectification in comics hits different, given who's traditionally made them, and who they considered their audience. Overtly gay stuff especially in older comics is about sneaking inclusivity past the censors. With women, for me, Witchblade/Power Girl/ Emma Frost always fail the vibecheck

Josh Cassara was one of the artists who made the Krakoa Era feel so special, so distinct from what came before (or is coming after). He nailed the dreamlike-quality of those days, and we were all lucky we got his work, even for too short a time.
