The federal government is exiting stage left for science, which means American scientists need support from other sectors to bridge us to a more sane time. We need to communicate the impact of this on the future of the country in every interaction we have- grocery store, school pick up line, etc

I have been in #highered for over 20 years & I have experienced exactly 3 yrs without a budget crisis across the five institutions I've served. Perhaps we cannot expect different outcomes when all institutions fight over dwindling resources, instead of changing the minds of the public. #academicsky
