That's interesting because the degree ofissue polarisation of a party depends on two things : what proportion of the party holds extreme positive or negative views and how evenly are these extreme views split between ++ and – –. In that sense, the Greens and FF also have a problem, see table.
Table showing degree of polarisation of voters for Irish political parties, where 100% polarisation represents a 50:50 split between two extreme viewpoints.

I always take a book with me whenever I leave the house for anything more significant than getting milk. I have a horror of being somewhere waiting for something without a book to read! I'm very fond of french livres de poche because, well, they are exactly pocket shaped!

So the Cambridge dons who cynically appointed an under-qualified candidate to a prestigious professorship as an exercise in lipsticking the pig are getting away with it unchallenged. The upper class always does, eh?

You are right. It disgusts me how no one is holding the Cambridge dons to account. They hired someone whose CV was nowhere near adequate in a cynical attempt to put lipstick on their pig. They are the ones who owe his poor family an apology.

I've said this in a reply, but I'll repeat it here. The ones who will go unpunished are the cynical Cambridge dons who used Ardern as a political pawn. They fed his fantasies, paraded him like a trophy. They disgust me. They knew what they were doing was wrong from the very start. They had to.

I am neurodivergent, but I don't regard it as a get out of jail card for plagiarism or lying on my CV. I want the same rights as everyone else, which means I accept the same responsibilities as everyone else.

My sis came to the flat, took one look at your St Brendan print and said "Give me that woman's details!) I was, of course, sparing and tactful on the details front, but you'll be hearing from her.

Come to think of it, the so-called spectrum isn't a spectrum either. There are different dimensions involved, hence the diversity rather than monotonicity.
