I think the entire pivot into Steam hardware may fail with the current market conditions. Valve just had the worst luck imaginable in terms of timing and too many consumers will be priced out.

I've certainly noticed the engagement on Bluesky tends to be one-liner takes, whereas mastodon you'll more often see paragraph-long responses that are well reasoned or might tigger some esoteric discussion

DJI tech is the best video tech I’ve come across. I use the Action for diving and Osmo for hiking. Too bad their drones are banned in the US now, no other manufacturer comes close in quality or price for that category.

Very clickbait headline. Proton Mail was forced to hand over payment data to Swiss authorities due to a legally binding order, which was then shared to the FBI via MLAT. At no point did they “help” the FBI. Anyone with a mild degree of privacy awareness knows payment data is not E2E encrypted.

The problem with mobile security is it’s all about perimeter security. Once that fails, there is little remedy. Everything else shifted towards continuous monitoring due to compromise mentality being; not if, but when. Beyond Apple notifying you, there is a gap in detections that is hard to fill.

What is the obsession for power banks and chargers these days? There is such heavy competition to make them look “cool” too, people it’s a plastic cube that sits in a wall outlet. Not complaining about Anker. They do make solid products. I just don’t get people’s desire to get the “best” charger.

Appears all DJI shipments are being seized at the US border, resulting in most products to be out of stock indefinitely on their website and partner retailers. A real shame because they arguably make the best drones. I really like their handheld cameras and was hoping to buy one.

The customer paid a $440 fine due to the “AI Scanner” identifying a scuff on a tire cover, with $125 (about 28%) being a processing fee for “the cost to detect and estimate the damage”. Good luck with customer retention.
