When you publish your books, are they protected from being scraped by AI? I've got stories, but with recent/current events involving people stealing books and rehashing them to publish as their own, part of me is losing the will to finish them or start something new :/

That is amazing! Will more info be added closer to the time? Is it going to be a library for people to buy and read indie stories etc (like the Kindle app). Will authors be able to share their books themselves of do they have to go through a vetting process?

I was curious because I have lots of different ideas for different genres. There are benefits to writing in one genre (more practised/become expert), but if a writer expands their repertoire, it can open up a lot of creativity

So like a story subscription? Sounds like a good idea, especially if readers have to pay to view and if the first chapter is free? A) Readers don't have to commit to a whole book if it doesn't seem their thing B) Writers feel motivated and supported, to write ✍️

Without legs adds an element of frightening stealth to the race. They'd be harder to see, and some people are naturally repulsed by anything that slithers.
