So my new neighborhood, much like my old one, has a large urban deer population. The difference is this herd is far less wary of the humans. My neighbor also owns a lovely little greyhound. Tonight those two things met in a comedy of errors.

We're also almost officially moved out of the old house. They still have to hire someone to clear out the attic, so I might have one more trip back there, but I'm pretty much done. And now have a year to sort/sell/repack the chaos of my crap in the new place before the next move.

Persepolis 1 & 2 are beautiful graphic novels and a bridge between cultures. Seeing Iran history and life through the eyes of Satrapi as she grows up listening to Michael Jackson and Madonna and has a punk phase and turns goth and all that was mind expanding for me. What a loss. R.I.P.
