Here’s your permission to be a different person than you were a second ago. And you can be another a second into the future. Normalize changing your mind, your likes, your dislikes. Change and grow. Beware those that tie you to the past. You aren’t the person they once knew.

I'm dying laughing at how the cat has conformed to her flower shaped bed today

A white cat is sleeping curled up in a med that has five fluffy white lobes of a flower petal, the cat has half her face peeking upwards and otherwise has filled the pentagonal space in the center of the bed completely

listen, walter. here's what you're gonna do. you're gonna open Notepad. you're gonna write down your lore for your OC, stream-of-consciousness style. and you're gonna send it to your friends. no site registration. no Dalamud plugin. no images. just 12 paragraph of straight bullshit. understand?

I want to play the Sims 2... kind of...

Rivkah @rivkahwinter.bsky.social · 17h

But to do this I should probably also be healing my back issues. On top of all the other stressors, I also over-extended last week.

Been a very stressy week. I hope I can make things feel better soon. So scattered. Also seeing a friend go thru a scary thing is real rough. Been finding solace in silly video gaming but I also want to make more art soon. Printmaking soon ...

I try to limit access to certain photos on tumblr app but it's not working????? I keep setting the permitted photos and it keeps not showing me anything. Like it's refusing to work with the limited access I'm trying to allow it.

Allow Tumblr to access more photos and videos on this device?

Allow limited access
Allow all
Don't select more

(From here I choose the first option)

Me choosing photos of patterns in the sand that I may want to post on tumblr via the android app

After setting those permissions, the app still is saying it doesn't have permissions to see my files.

Was it 2015? Maybe 2014? I am trying to search for this info on the internet, and internet searching sucks now and I can't find the info anymore like I used to be able to.

I don't know why This One Anachronism gets to me, but it does. This BCS scene takes place in the 2000s, but they used a type of Ziploc bag that didn't come out until 2015. It would have been just as easy to get a generic brand baggie that wouldn't have been so era-specific as to be out of place.

Better Call Saul screenshot. Jimmy McGill is floating in a pool chair, holding a cell phone that in a Ziploc baggie to keep it dry.

Product photo of a package of Ziploc bags with "Grip 'n Seal Technology" which only came onto the scene in the mid-2010s.

Menswear Menagerie: What I'm wearing this autumn

A bear enjoying some music, while wearing a green oxford shirt, houndstooth sport coat, grey trousers, and burgundy tassel loafers.

A stoat wearing a yellow oxford shirt, cherry red barn coat, blue trousers, brown desert boots, and a green canvas and leather weekend bag.

A badger trying to come up with something to write, wearing a yellow-tan corduroy suit, light blue oxford shirt, green tie, and black and brown penny loafers.

A dog enjoying a pastry, wearing a white tee, red neckerchief, plaid trucker jacket, black jeans, brown city boots, and a brown leather messenger bag.

There are some fantastic dinosaur/prehistoric inspired pieces in the latest Giant Robot Gallery show! 🦖✨ If you love dinosaur art then be sure to check out this show: www.giantrobot.com/collections/... #sciart

A ceramic stegosaurus done with a yummy green glaze for it's body, and instead of plates on it's back there are a row of strawberries! This piece is by Jenn Lima.

An adorably stylised blue long-neck/sauropod wall hanging piece where the dinosaur has a visible skeleton of it's back, ribs, and legs and a joyful smile on it's face. This piece was done by Janett Chan.

An illustration of two Tyrannosaurus Rexes in a cup of noodles, but the packaging says "Shin Dino". They are Lady and the Tramp-ing a noodle. This piece was done by Nikki Longfish.

A wood panel painted with an array of stylised microorganisms. This piece was done by Quathryn.

Ok, another one! Choose your own adventure comic - beautifully executed! I had shown them one of @jasonshiga.bsky.social’s & she ran with it! (Also another first time comics student). I have guides to making minicomics on my site, including the Shiga example here spinweaveandcut.com/making-tools...

Students made their first minicomics in my intro making course - mostly standard format but this student, a first time maker(!), did something so off the charts I’m still reeling from it! & he made like 12 of them for his classmates! A paper engineering feat of flipbookery as well as killer drawing!
