Hi! I'm powered by colour & sky & tree-gazing & coffee. I love drawing & painting things I can see around me without letting myself look at the page & making music out of every day sounds - helping me reconnect with the magic of the current moment. Living on Wurundjeri country. What powers you?

“Yarra libraries have extended their hours to 8pm today in 2 branches… a good way to escape the heat. They have air con, water & don’t cost money.” - just in from a friend. www.yarracity.vic.gov.au/our-libraries #heatwave #Melbourne #Melbourneweather #CityofYarra

So thoughtful of the tram to colour coordinate itself with my outfit! (Yes, I had my feet up. Don’t worry, the tram was mostly empty & I wasn’t inconveniencing anyone. Had an appointment this morning. Got back home before the worst of the heat hit.) #dopamine #colours #Melbourne #artistlife

Legs up with feet in the air on a tram. Foreground: vertical stripey colourful pants, blue, purple, green, yellow. Then horizontal stripey socks in light blue and dark blue. Shoes are bright yellow with orange laces. Background: long view down the inside of the tram carriage, blue sky matches socks, green seats match pants, orange seats match shoes, all safety railings and handles are bright yellow and match the shoes.

…tidied, declutterred & dusted my desk But then started looking at pictures I’ve been meaning to put up, and I’ve made it cluttered again. 😂 #procrastinating #artistlife #artistdesk #artstudio

Looking over a messy desk, laptop covered in stickers in the foreground, clutter of many art postcards and nature pictures and inspirational quotes spread across the desk. Background is vibrant colourful paintings on paper by Rose Wintergreen, blutacced on the wall

…Washed my squishy fidget toys… (Have heard I should use cornflour on them once dry, to reduce stickiness, but haven’t ever done it. Might have to try this time?)… #procrastination #artistlife #fidgets #fidgettoys

3 sensory squishy fidget toys lined up on the kitchen bench to air dry after being washed. Largest in the foreground is a sphere with multicoloured pearls inside it, overall dominant colour appears to be red-orange. Next is a much smaller purple cube. At the back is a small yellow orb.

Oh, you’re work is so beautiful! All of it! But I have a particular soft spot for this one. So intimate and a beautiful capture of the light, too.

Have you started following any feeds (like lists in Twitter)? You might find following these ones helpful for getting more covid conscious, still masking folks into your timeline. And of course, I’m sure there are many many more.
