Rell Sunn, Queen of Makaha. Rest in power, Kahuna.

Saw a Great Horned Owl a few nights ago. Damned big bird!

What about a cute lil black squirrel?

I came into the lobby and heard a growl from her office… “YOU’D BETTER HAVE CHOCOLATE!!” I did a tactical retreat, then returned, lowering a baggie of chocolate covered coffee beans on a fishing pole line.

A fishing pole emoji has been photoshopped (by hand, not ai) to cover the fish and replace it with a few beans.
The original beans were chocolate covered coffee beans, but that’s the best I could do.

I was rather (pleasantly) surprised at the atmosphere for trans in La Paz. I saw at least a half-dozen different styles of bills posted on walls, couples holding hands, a gorgeous blonde hitting on my boss, and at least one club which was solely trans themed. It was great!

It would be cool if you could bring a shape to a carmaker and they could pop one out… Some of the Lakester cars are pretty coo too!

Lakesters are sleek cars, often with an open cockpit and head shaped roll bar. This one is an enclosed model, where the driver sits entirely inside the car and sees out of the canopy at the nose.
The deep orange paint at the front makes the windows stand out, and the flame shapes run back over the beige body paint.
Lakesters were traditionally built in ford Model A frames and running gear. They were made to go really fast across the dry lakebeds of the desert southwest of USA.
Bonneville Salt Flata is a good phrase to search if you are interested.

I have seen better looking Pinewood Derby cars.

Four Pinewood Derby cars appear to roll down a steep wooden track.

The cars are made of wood, with plastic wheels, and are carved and painted.

The car in the closest lane is orange, probably from the clear coat on the bare wood, carved like a swoopy Batmobile, and is in second place behind the indigo blue car in the second lane, which is a minimalist wedge.
The car in the third lane is a close third behind the orange car, and it is made to look like a pink eraser, very good job that! The fourth lane car is also the fourth place car, a dragster shape painted lime green.

I think about politics a lot. Much more than I talk about politics. I was pondering some hobbies, and noticing that I was not doing hobbies much anymore. And I realized it was because of politics. In this thread I will put in my political ponderings so they don’t leak out onto my silliness…
