The "creatives" who use genAI at any part of their process need to understand I'm not desperate for new media. There is such a backlog of arts, movies, books, and games WITHOUT genAI that if nothing new was made again, I'd still need a hundred lifetimes to consume even a fraction of it.

I am confused by the article - it lightly goes over some research and study that says people kiss less and then offers plenty anecdotes. Sad ones. But also strange ones. With a soft: '"me too" didn't help' thrown in- because consent kills romance? Seriously?

Nein, die Niederlande haben kein Verbot der Antifa erlassen. Das war ein Antrag (motie), dass sich die Regierung damit beschäftigen soll. Was sie aber nicht tun wird, da - wie MP Schoof erklärte - in NL so ein Verbot nur durch ein Gericht erfolgen kann. Außerdem sind in ein paar Wochen Wahlen.

Because of current events, I needed some comfort bingeing. So back to Star Trek. I just watched "Silicon Avatar". What a great episode. It made me cry, it is the first time I saw it since becoming a mother. Boy, did it hit differently! It has a strong dilemma between emotion and morality.
