i saw a notice while downloading an n64 rom hack saying project 64, mupen64plus, and bizhawk all have a vulnerability that lets roms run native code and was baffled that an emulator could be inaccurate enough to let that happen. then i updated cen64 and saw this in the git log

commit by Jason Benaim, Oct 1 23:46:23 2022: Don't crash when N64's framebuffer exceeds 8MB. Wrap aroudn in that case.

x86 code does not look like this. this is either encrypted or compressed
