One Nation's biggest donor Gina Rinehart has purchased an $8 million office property in inner-city Brisbane which will become the new headquarters for Pauline Hanson's populist
party.
The mining billionaire bought the Spring Hill property, described in promotional material as a "striking three-storey freehold", last week through Hanrine Investments, a subsidiary of Rinehart's Hancock Prospecting.

Hi
David Shoebridge — senator and king of estimates takedowns — is the Greens' new
leader. As Rachel Withers writes, the party has long been in need of a burst of energy.
But can Shoebridge be a charismatic unifier like Zohran Mamdani in the US?

Well, fortunately there are no hard feelings with how things have turned out
Former deputy Mehreen Faruqi
'disappointed' after Greens leadership vote
Former Greens deputy leader Mehreen Faruqi has expressed her disappointment her party room did not appoint her leader in the ballot.
In a statement on social media, Faruqi said:
"Of course, I am disappointed the party room chose another direction, and know many others will feel the same way".
44 I did not stand again for Deputy Leader today because, on reflection, I believe I can best play my part in that action outside the constraints of the leadership team.
Faruqi said she had long advocated for Greens leaders to be elected by members
"with enough time for thoughtful deliberation on who is best to grow our party".
41 I share members' frustration that the opposite happened this week. Without a member vote, we cannot call ourselves a grassroots party.
I call on the new leadership team to set a timeline for one member, one vote.

The past is a foreign country
Baby Nut and Peanut Jr.
On January 22, 2020, Planters released a teaser for its Super Bowl LIV commercial featuring Mr. Peanut, Wesley Snipes and Matt Walsh. The trio was shown hanging onto a branch after accidentally driving the Nutmobile off a cliff to avoid an armadillo with Mr. Peanut electing to let go and fall to his death onto the Nutmobile, which then explodes. The company's social media outlets stated that his funeral would be the subject of Planters' Super Bowl ad. 19)[20||21]
Planters suspended the campaign shortly after the Calabasas helicopter crash on January 26, which killed all passengers including former NBA player Kobe Bryant. It eventually resumed the campaign with the Super Bowl commercial, which showed Snipes and Walsh presiding over the funeral of Mr. Peanut, also attended by fellow mascots Kool-Aid Man and Mr. Clean.
Kool-Aid Man's tears combined with sunlight, causing a new, younger incarnation of Mr.
Peanut, dubbed "Baby Nut", to grow from the soil. After brief baby sounds, Baby Nut quotes
"Just kidding, I'm back". Everyone celebrates Mr. Peanut's revival as he asks "Where's my monocle"?[22]

I mean this doesn’t exactly sound neutral Guess if you’ve been an AG you have a baseline understanding of what you actually can do to skirt the law if that’s what you want to do
On August 18, 2025, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Bailey as Co-Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). 62]
Bailey resigned as Missouri Attorney General on September 8, 2025. 63! Bailey was sworn in as Co-Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation on September 15, 2025, serving along with Dan Bongino until the latter's resignation on January 3, 2026, thus making Bailey sole deputy director, until Christopher Raia's appointment on January 12, in which he resumed status as co-deputy director.
