it's interesting to see how world events since 2000 have pushed a unified-national european identity into existence. I think the US spitting in their mouth while facing russian aggression might be the final thing that solidifies it.

I don't think there will be a civil war. It's not like we're pushing for abolition of something that involves an entire industry of a specific region. I think if there is a big unrest/conflict we'd see something like the George Floyd protests which popped up in every city. maybe even a revolution
