The better game is Double Dash. The one me and my friends played every Friday night for my entire uni life and a few years past that is Wii, so it takes the win in my heart.

So the dream is dead. I don't regret the money I put up, voted with my wallet for the thing I wanted and unfortunately it didn't work out. I hope the devs find work and will forever hold out hope for a new Wild Arms style game.

Don't like being so negative. Sorry 😅 so I will say. I feel very lucky to have amazing friends and I shouldn't let people get my back up. But some people really do.

Made a post and regretted it, but I won't regret saying specifically the person it was about fucking sucks. Literally have some fucking decorum you gross prick.

Of course game scores don't matter to in the grand scheme of anything. But it's so nice to see the best reviewed game of the year so far is a Trails game 🥰

The way that because of the stupid UK internet safety stuff this has made me notice that my Steam account, which is old enough to drink and vote and make me feel crusty, isn't allowed to see this game because I haven't given Valve my credit card details 😭

I'm happy Physint is being made but let's not pretend Microsoft didn't lay off tons of staff and let a bunch of studios go to turn around and drop huge amounts of money in Kojima's lap as if to say "we could have been funding those other teams, we just didn't want to"

"This is clandestine... This is arcane... This is The Shadow of the Templars..." The trailer from the 1996 PS1 Demo One pack-in disc that let me know that a new generation of point 'n' click graphic adventures were out there. Coming more or less direct from Amiga, this was such an eye-opener.

The Sinking City 2 is really great, I had a blast playing through it this weekend. That said, to any of my adventure gamer friends, it's just a straight survival horror. The detective mechanics have been almost entirely stripped from the game.

Part of this is just me feeling old, the things I like are either stuck in remakes, or changed too much from the form I fell in love with, or just dormant It's not just gaming, I'm not feeling the current Spiderman or X-Men comics, RTD killed Doctor Who for a bit, I'm just being a grumpy old man rn

Sony announcing the end of physical releases has really done a number on my overall enthusiasm for gaming. It's stupid but I just feel like it's hard to care right now even with games that has no effect on. Idk I'm in a funk and need to get out of it.

Replayed Broken Sword again, still can't quite wrap my head around why Innuendo Studios rated it so low. Like the game tells you exactly what the Sword of Baphomet is and even then it's just the macguffin, the rest of the game seemed to not to factor in his critique (maybe I just need to rewatch it)

It's crazy how much the news about Sony killing physical killed my interest in my PS5 right now. Of course I know I'll play it again, but right now it just makes me annoyed thinking about it.
