I dont even think it can be justified with the argument that algorithms show you annoying people. Annoying people used to show up to flame people or were power hungry mods on your forum or just showed up to ur local card shop

its so funny how people used to say fire emblem games are all samey in plot meanwhile nowadays you have most indie fe likes repeat fe stories have while actual fe games do actually insane and brave things with their stories.

I am SO SICK of the way Nintendo fans treat FE and Xenoblade. Sure, it’s fine if the games aren’t for them, but going out of their way to ignore them in discussions or even outright belittle them just for existing is something else entirely.

I can understand wanting one specific game from a franchise (I just want a new Paper Mario game, as much as I loved TTYD '24 it WAS just a remake), but when you start shitting on every franchise that isn't 3D Mario and harp about Nintendo's stocks, I'm gonna laugh at you.

in an odd way 3h benefitted from a lack of flashback cutscenes because so many characters give tainted accounts of events. As the viewer, you have to sort through everyone's baggage in order to determine who YOU think is the most trustworthy source of information. and thats awesome

I'm still horrible at SSX, but I'm getting better by the day. Decided to play SSX 3 again recently (can't believe the PS2 video was a year ago...) and it is still a masterpiece of arcade sports action.

since many of my dear mutuals are struggling with this right now, i encourage you to let go of your FOMO. some of us don't have the game at all… and yet our peace is kept anyway. a game is not worth your mental health re: anxiety or physical health re: long play sessions leading to burnout. #FEFW

but yeah if theres any agarthan or generally lore-centric sothisverse servers (preferably 18+/no minors ones) please tell me I need more people to talk about my dubsteppers with.

Kirika @ridillsword.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Man, when I'm done with FW I want to join some FW/sothisverse centric servers. Esp any servers focused on agarthans, considering this game may make other people actually like them.

230

Kirika @ridillsword.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

I love how much the Sothisverse games love the player. It's cool to have games that are aware of the players role in making a games narrative work, but use that as a way to treat the player as an agent of positive change and compassion, rather than a virus or glitch that needs to be eradicated.
