in an odd way 3h benefitted from a lack of flashback cutscenes because so many characters give tainted accounts of events. As the viewer, you have to sort through everyone's baggage in order to determine who YOU think is the most trustworthy source of information. and thats awesome

we put down my switch 2 and started watching blue lions supports because it was so dire. i really like Ingrid tentatively asking if she can come visit Fraldarius again. It's so sad she has to even ask but yeah Rodrigue completely forgot about her after Glenn died.

need my 15 year old brain back for this game. I want to feel effortlessly impressed by cool cutscenes and basic shonen-ass dialogue again.

take this with a grain of salt. i am a hater. but i really dont like how fw is writing character dialogue. There's no room for anything to feel natural when characters are rushing to over explain themselves and the arcs that they're about to have purely for the camera's sake

interview says a theme of fefw is coming together despite differences so im thinking theres no way leda is gonna get revenge on Bertrand. I just hope he's a cool enough guy with understandable motivations to deserve the pardon he'll probably be granted

im sick and my fortunes weave preorder is at gamestop. I was originally going to pick it up in person as soon as they open, but I can't in good conscience do that anymore. The delay spent waiting for my roomate to pick up my copy the day after will make me a danger to myself and others

I wish they were just making a new zelda game instead of a remake. My favorite part of Zelda games is the puzzle mechanics and well. they aren't really as engaging the second time around when you know all the answers.

finally getting back to hades 2. I kinda respect nemesis being a rude person. she does say fucked up stuff but shes also the character who serves as the opposition to the creators point of view. and I just think these games have such evil messaging that i have to fw with her.

I was part of a layoff recently and also just got rejected from a volunteer community service job for being trans. I have savings but im feeling a little bleak abt all this. AI is eating the work i used to do too. Im bumping my commissions down to half price next week if anyone is interested.

i was trying to figure out why i like the player insert/character relationships in Exocolonist when i usually find that stuff so boring. And i think its bc they took out the wish-fulfillment fantasy aspect of it. Like Tangent will dump you bc shes consumed with grief or just not feeling it

It would have been fun to contrast dimitri's readiness to make his baggage other peoples problems with edelgard who, in her ferdinand hopes supports, doesnt even bring up the very relevant information of his dad being responsible for the deaths of her siblings.

i was playing a little bit of fates. The recruitment system is funny to me so i wrote a short fic about Edelgard trying to get the Blue Lions to join her after she captures them. Mostly Ingrid pov and felix is just here to be funny archiveofourown.org/works/912877...

I sketched these when I was coming up with ideas for the femslash exchange. I ended up going in a different direction, but I think these are cute! :') #FE3H #EdelgardvonHresvelg #DorotheaArnault #Edelthea

A pen sketch colored in with pink marker. Edelgard is seated and looking up at Dorothea, who is wearing the dancer outfit. Dorothea's back is to the camera, and her hands are in front of her.

A pen sketch colored in with pink marker. Dorothea sits comfortably, resting her chin on her hand. Her other hand rests on Edelgard's waist. Edelgard is turned away from the viewer. She is wearing the dancer outfit and her hands are clasped behind her back.

I wish we had gotten to meet lysithea's family. From the way she described it, it sounded like she was shouldering their trauma over her own health decline, which feels so messy and tragic. Not even allowing herself to live for herself when she has so little time.
