Day 1912 #Pedal2Work (for 27.02.2026) Somewhat of a cool start to the ride into #Melbourne CBD via the Main Yarra Trail, but the longer I rode, the more humid it became. By the time I arrived at work I was a sweaty mess. Thankfully work has basic end of trip facilities.

Day 1907 #Pedal2Work Cool start to ride into #Melbourne CBD via the Main Yarra Trail. After a few minutes it was very comfortable. It must be that time of year, as there was another big bunch of senior bicycle riders also making their way into the CBD. Looked fun for them.

Day 1906 #Pedal2Work Warm morning to ride a bicycle into #Melbourne CBD along the Main Yarra Trail. Not sure why, but it felt quiet on the roads, as there weren't that many cars encountered on the east to the trail. Passed a small group of senior riders enjoying the weather.

Day 1905 #Pedal2Work Comfortable ride into #Melbourne CBD this morning. Only a slight headwind breeze, the humidity wasn't too high, and there were small patches of sun poking through. The shoes still felt damp from riding home on Wednesday evening. Still better than driving.

Day 1903 #Pedal2Work Quick ride on the roads to #Melbourne CBD. Left a little later than usual and was pleasantly surprised at the lack of people driving their cars. Some minor bottlenecks were encountered once I got to the city, but they were more of a problem for car drivers.

Day 1899 #Pedal2Work Today I tried my best to keep up with a guy in Lycra (not sure if it was for comfort or racing or training) on his multi speed bicycle on the way to #Melbourne CBD. It was a tough task. He would sprint hard then take it easy on the inclines. Still fun. 🚲👍

Day 1879 #Pedal2Work Very warm ride into #Melbourne CBD this morning. Was in the mid 30°s (Celsius) by the time I got to work, so it didn't hit the patch when it was above 40, which would have felt like riding through a hair dryer. Cool shower at work got me back to normal.

Day 1866 #Pedal2Work Had to rush into the office this morning, so I rode on the main roads on the way to #Melbourne CBD. Was able to pass many cars on the way there that were such bumper to bumper. My 35 min usual ride was done in around 20 mins. 👍😀🚲
