honestly for a second I thought it was one of the nameless off-model villains from the Konami Simpsons arcade beat-em-up
Four-player Simpsons Arcade beat-em-up from Konami, with two nameless besuited boss characters, one big with red tie and brown shoes, one too small for his identical suit with blue tie and black shoes.

Panel 1: Bucky B. Katt, wearing sunglasses, says to Satchel Pooch “See? My album is right there on the Internut. So you know it’s true.” Satchel reads text off a laptop screen. “Bucky Katt’s debut album - Bucky Katt’s Greatest Hits: Volume 2, went fourple platinum in a record 2 hours…”

Panel 2: Satchel furrows his brow. “Fourple? What is this website, anyway?” Bucky replies “Wikipedia, baby.”

Panel 3: Satchel is skeptical. “Hm… seems more like Wackypedia to me…” Bucky grabs the mouse and says “Hey, scroll down to the bit about where I won Wimbledon.”

For October I’m starting a quixotic quest to bring back the phrase “fourple platinum” from Get Fuzzy
Panel 1: Bucky B. Katt, wearing sunglasses, says to Satchel Pooch “See? My album is right there on the Internut. So you know it’s true.” Satchel reads text off a laptop screen—“Bucky Katt’s debut album - Bucky Katt’s Greatest Hits: Volume 2, went fourple platinum in a record 2 hours…”

“But how can three people 69?” You ask. “It’s impossible!” Not so, as this comic will demonstrate.
Only the relevant panels have been transcribed.

Panel 5: Roast Beef tries to reason with Ray. “Three dudes can’t 69 man think about it”
Panel 6: Ray disagrees. “Actually, they can. It’s called the Isosceles Lock.”
Panel 7: Ray deploys a projector screen.
Panel 8: Ray in the dark: “Invented by the dudes from ABBA, the Isosceles Lock has revolutionized…” The diagram is nonsense but is Copyright © 1978 Ulvaeus, Andersson.

The comic’s original alt text is “Agnetha I will be not at home again this Evening”

an excerpt from From Hell. Written by Alan Moore, drawn by Eddie Campbell.

Panel 1: Sir William Withey Gull pontificates as his driver Netley eats. “Scorn not the Gods; despite their non-existence in material terms, they’re no less potent, no less terrible.”

Panel 2: Sir William continues as Netley attends. “The one place Gods inarguably exist is in our minds where they are real beyond refute, in all their grandeur and monstrosity.”

Extreme close-up still frame of a typically-unhinged guest character from one of Tom P. Bates’s Nigel & Marmalade animations, saying “art” so emphatically that the word literally materializes in all-caps script letters. Note the bloodshot eyes, wooden teeth, and voluminous nose hairs.

it’s a little scary how quickly Facebook decided I wanted more of these kinds of listings, especially more-or-less deniable ones. Again, these are not listings I usually see; only after I gawked at the St. Andrew’s cross did they show up in my feed.

More panels of treasure
Panel 1: A young East Asian man says to Lottie and Shauna “I am Alex. Look at you two, chatting like old friends?” Lottie replies “Oh, uh, hi! Well we are old friends.”

Panel 2: Alex asks “Oh! Have your menstrual cycles synchronised?”

Panel 3: Shauna says “That's an interesting question, Alex. Once you have the information, what are you going to do with it?”A middle-aged man says “If ‘teenagers’
were just called ‘incompetent adults’… we’d avoid a lot of these misunderstandings.”Alex tries to cheer up Tuan with his smartphone. “Cheer up, Tuan. Here's a viral video with a repetitive song. It's cat-based.”

a flyer posted in a Bay Area city that says:

WE MUST PRAY
for Mambo no.6

Please, Lou
hear our prayers

A female figure (God) spoke to me in a dream. "She" revealed that unity of all men and peace on earth can only be realized through the completion of Lou Bega's next great work:

Mambo no.6
Help Me Pray

*if your names are listed in Lou's 1999 original summer classic "Mambo no.5"
Monica, Erica, Rita, Tina, Sandra, Mary, Jessica
your prayers will be stronger.

Extreme closeup of Anne Crook saying “Oh, oh dear God, when I look upon your face I am afraid and cannot help it… Wh-Who are you, sir?”

He is Sir William Withey Gull, Physician In Ordinary to Her Majesty Queen Victoria, and he is about to tell his assistant Ackland to administer Ms. Crook anaesthetic so that he may remove her thyroid and with it her sanity and credibility.

This is the last panel on the page. The first time I read From Hell I was simultaneously too terrified to turn the page, to see Sir William’s face, and too deep in the story *not* to turn the page. But Sir William is a man like any other, save perhaps for an unusually ordered frame of mind. Given the tasks he sets for himself in From Hell, one may take that statement as a condemnation of men in general.

A dinner date with a man bringing a forkful of phallic pasta to his ladyfriend’s lips. It’s probably AI-generated, which frankly blows.

What I really wanted was a photo of a man and a woman eating pasta like Lady and the Tranp, which I could then caption “Doggystyle.”

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past + Four Swords ($17.99 used) and Final Fantasy IV, both for Game Boy Advance.

Why yes, I *have* posed them next to my slipcases containing the Donald M. Grant Artist Editions of books IV-VII of Stephen King’s Dark Tower series.

All are for sale.
