I was on a jr. High trip to DC when I first layed eyes on it in a Smithsonian store. I had some travelers checks that were burning a hole in my pocket, so I went for it. It’s an impressive feat of imagination and drafting skill. No computers were used… its all hand drawn.

In Hamburg there is a Sunday morning “Fischmarkt” where you can get a hot fish sandwich, a beer and listen to a rock band. It’s pretty fun and you’d be surprised how good a piping hot fish sandwich (or fried shrimp with garlic sauce) tastes at 7:00am on a 35f morning.
