On August 26th, 1970, the 3rd Isle of Wight Festival began, and it would also be the last until revived in 2002. The 1st two years, the festival had a modest attendance. In 1970, the estimates range from 500,000 to over 600,000. At the time, it was the largest musical event, larger than Woodstock.

Here is a fancy bird for your Friday evening, a male Golden-browed Chlorophonia. They are found in Central America, in Costa Rice and Panama, and Birds of the World describes them as short-billed, chunky tanagers. San Gerardo de Dota, Costa Rica
