So far so good. Everything works, no leaks, and the drain pipes are better organized. Also switched from a single ball valve to separate hot and cold controls - which is nice because the ball valve was getting seriously janky in terms of mixing temperatures.

Almost 5 hours, but finally got the new kitchen faucet installed. Most of that was uninstalling the old one. Couldn’t get my basin wrench in there to loosen the rusted on nuts and the non-standard bracket holding it all together. Kept jumping on YouTube hoping someone else had an easy fix.

Think okra season is over here. Went outside to the garden yesterday and found the plants bent almost 90 degrees from this weekend’s nor’easter. Upside, not a bad thing as we’ve been giving it all away these past few weeks as we’ve gotten so much this summer.

Overall, I agree. I know AI has tons of good uses, especially in the sciences. But it very much has been overshadowed and tainted by the scummy business practices of all the companies trying to cash in.
