I have had to do 3 separate mail merges this week. All using the same text, just with different source files. Outlook has somehow behaved differently for all of them. And it's like, why does everything have to fucking suck?

Finally ordered the home solar battery bank I’ve been eying. Just in time for nor’easter and hurricane season. It’s not huge but keeping the fridge going for a day or two helps a lot.

Think okra season is over here. Went outside to the garden yesterday and found the plants bent almost 90 degrees from this weekend’s nor’easter. Upside, not a bad thing as we’ve been giving it all away these past few weeks as we’ve gotten so much this summer.

Ugh. Tomorrow’s fair is rain or shine. Don’t care too much about the rain, but with a nor’easter bearing down on us, the wind is going to be an issue - which will then make the rain an issue. Not sure I want to set up a tent with books in that kind of situation.
