Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 21hI ordered a pizza. I didnt want an apple pie. I expected a pizza. It's not about limiting my experience it's about setting and meeting expectations. 100
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 22h...what? Telling a story that's the same as the source material with charcters that are the same is a cash grab? Do you even understand what an adaptation is?? 100
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 22hI don't see why this is hard to understand or accept. Of COURSE I expect the basic story to be followed in the same way that I'd expect a pizza in a pizza box and not an apple pie. 100
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 22hThat's easy, I expect an adaptation to tell the same basic story as the original with characters broadly similar. There will be changes due to medium and character emphasis, but when I'm told that something is an adaptation, that's what I expect. Not an entirely different story with different chars. 210
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 12/10/2026Go under Settings, tap Accessibility and turn on Require. That way you don't have to remember and don't get that "Oh dammit..." feeling right after you post 141
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 11/10/2026And now for the completely unemotional and utterly rational talk about Arch. 000
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 10/10/2026Between capable if limited local models and increasing efficiency in larger ones the current hardware isn't going to be needed in 5 years, never mind 10+. 010
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 10/10/2026I thnk the truth will is a mix - most of us will interact with smaller models that are perfectly fine for the kind of stuff that most people need - surfacing an email based on a description, parsing emails and texts into a calendar for a family etc. That's why the datacenterbuildouts will tank. 110
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 10/10/2026A few years ago playing for the natty. Backstabbed by Deboer … “oh you got Fisch he’s good” 🤮 And we should have let that weasel Demond leave for LSU 010
Reposted by Rick GregoryWes Bos @wesbos.com · 09/10/2026I have discovered $50 amazon photo frames to be the PERFECT home display screen They can be rooted, updated to run a modern browser, have WiFi and can be powered from USB 1280×800 resolution with a touch screen detailed how to hack these yourself in my latest vid wesbos.com/hacking-smar... 2639530
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 09/10/2026That's cheap enough that if you have the dashboard data stored centrally you could put these screen in the kids' bedrooms, the kitchen etc and have changes update the central data store. 000
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 09/10/2026At least it’s not Novak’s gang. 30 penalties was unwatchable 000
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 07/10/2026Is this a Howie move to get picks, realizing this year isn't it? 010
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 06/10/2026Huh, surprised the Jags are down there. BTW why exclude 3rd down? 100
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 03/10/2026How the hell did i miss the announcement of this and Karakuri Baby?? Both sounds awesome. When preorders?? Inquiring Visa® cards want to know! 110
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 02/10/2026Remember that TNF is Amazon owned and that Bezos is scum 100
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 02/10/2026yeah that's BS. Medicare/S Sec wants either that or Login.gov and there was no way I was doing id.me.login.govThe public’s one account for government. | Login.govUse one account and password for secure, private access to participating government agencies. 010
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 02/10/2026No login.gov option?login.govThe public’s one account for government. | Login.govUse one account and password for secure, private access to participating government agencies. 100
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 28/09/2026Yeah, fair point. catchable vs un matters to me because if it's catchable then the DB's arm across is clearly PI. If it's not, the arm shouldn't matter at all 000
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 27/09/2026Or he realizes he's out ahead of it late. There are 2 parts to this - 1) the DB's contact was illegal if it was catchable but 2) if the ball was uncatchable the refs then need to use that part of the rule to justify not calling it. Catchability looked iffy but possible on this one to me 101
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 27/09/2026He did on that call. Asking the WR to suddenly change his momentum vector is asking the literally impossible. If the DB doesn't drag his arm on the WR chest it's incomplete, yeah? If the answer is "no, it might have been a catch" then the whole uncatchcable because underthrown thing doesn't apply 010
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 27/09/2026There's already the 'uncatchable' clause, isn't there? They never apply it, but that's another issue 010
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 27/09/2026can't wrap your arm around the Wr like that either. I hate underthrown DPI but you can't no call contact like that 020
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 27/09/2026All I see is that you want to tear away the pants of someone named Andrade 110
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 27/09/2026Roe was case law and not legislative. for this, see implied powers, the elastic clause and the commerce clause. esp the latter in this case. 010
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 27/09/2026Irrelevant. There are plenty of things Congress does that isn't explictly granted. In general, anything not prohibited is allow. 000
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 27/09/2026caveats: The difference in premiums makes sense for me since it's $200/month difference, but in some states it's not that much. Check your state as well as the rules on switching Medigap plans. Always reevaluate the Part D drug plan. Some very low premium plans exist and might work for you 110
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 27/09/2026If you're on the regular Part G plan look at the High Deductible G plan. Same coverage... the premium is less (much less some places, it's state dependent). The trade off is that there's a $2900 deductible. If you are usually healthy, you save on the premium cost and pay little of the deductible. 310
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 27/09/2026Who pays for the Iran war? Who pays for ICE? Who pays for anything? Why can we find money for all of the things Rs like but suddenly when we want to pay for things that directly help most citizens, we're broke? 0111
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 27/09/2026Constitution is irrelevant here, it has nothing to say about such a program 020
Rick Gregory @rickgregory.me · 25/09/2026The RTP penalty was legit if on the edge but the defense gave up a huge run by not tackling. Can't collapse when a call doesn't go your way 020
