i've been researching various macropads and the marketing for a lot of them does a good job of making me never give them any further consideration

It's tragic that Gigi had to change her intro music from this because of getting auto flagged or some such, it fits her energy so well.

This tune in Sonic Racing Crossworlds always gets me amped. It's based on the cyber space zones in Sonic Frontiers. Ah, that sax and bass just rips.

2 has Hanch, and that alone makes it very important Yeah sure she's only in it for like two missions but still Hanch, our sopping wet queen with a shit eating grin

Drinkbox's Guacamelee was mentioned there, but a game of theirs I love that I think gets overlooked is Severed. A touch based dungeon crawler on various touchscreen systems including Switch that's very different in tone.

I was looking back on my Peace Walker progress back on PS3 and was surprised that I tapped out before finishing the story, I remember finding a lot of it real tedious then and not what I wanted out of a Metal Gear.

Steam stats are so often used for doom and gloom that it's rare to see anyone highlight the silent beasts. Don't Starve Together has been chugging along for years now and has been pretty consistent at having a concurrent average of 25~35k players. This came out at the end of 2014!

They usually offer some filter, but they're either worthless or overbearing. Mega Man 9 had a softening filter in the original release! No such option in the collection, just whatever this is. M2 did some Konami collections but the only filter offered adds an overly harsh scanline effect.

I've been burned too often with collections of classic games. They almost always mess up the visuals in some way. Nearest neighbour uneven scaling. Look at the uneven looking health bars on both of these.

It's probably because management doesn't care about holostars but it's wild seeing Bettel collabing with Magni's new persona. When the holo girls do that they do it on their old personas. Could you imagine them doing it officially?

I've seen complaints for this achievement on the Steam forum -- not for it being an achievement about something negative, but that it's tedious to forcibly do if it doesn't come naturally and... what an example of "if an achievement told you to jump off a bridge would you do it?"

When you download a community layout, it can not be removed unless you do some digging in your Steam folders and delete the right file and edit another. Why?

This shows a Steam Deck icon, where's the Steam Controller one I use on PC? Why can't I rename this so I can better determine what's being used? Why does it save every change you make instead of having a save button? How do I make a config go to "Your Layouts" when export sends them to "Search"?

Something that always bothers me about Peace Walker is how detailed Snake's face is compared to his body and anything else in the game. It doesn't even animate, it's like he's wearing a skin mask. He's got like a 5 polygon body and this ultra detailed face. Creeps me out.

I’ve been commuting to Mississauga for work lately and the 30 mins I spend on their buses compared to the 10 I spend on Toronto buses has me conclude Mississauga people are better It can be pretty full and still fairly quiet, it’s real nice. They have 90s arcade carpet upholstery on the seats too

Some improvements to gifting on Steam includes being able to pay the difference in pricing when gifting cross-region This is a long time coming, given most internet people I know are Americans and whether or not I can send them Steam gifts has always been flip flopping

Cross-region gifting

Buying a gift for a friend in a higher-priced region? In the past, digital gift cards were the solution for gifting, but that required you to know the full price of the game in your friend's region.

Now you can gift games directly to your friend. Steam will calculate the cost in your friend's region at checkout. Your friend needs to be on your Steam friends list to send this type of gift.

god, the six shooter duel on the last minnmax was so damn good. they're usually pretty lax about it but how serious they took it this year with litigating over GTA6 and Leo's triple shot over it was so fucking funny.
