Is there a US-based commercial or academic lab I can send biochar samples to for random reflectance (inertinite) measurements? All I have found so far is Fusinite, a commercial lab located in the UK.

WA is a hotbed for carbon capture research. What is it anyway?
The concept of carbon capture, removal and storage is fairly simple, but in practice it's much more complicated and controversial.

A nice high-level economics perspective that is often missing from conversations within the VCM. The discussion on durability was particularly good. Important things to consider to best address climate change and create solid carbon and CDR markets.

Once we get past net zero, and a significant amount of adaptation to climate change has already taken place, what are the chances it'll actually be a good idea to take CO2 all the way back down to 280ppm? Will be an interesting future CDR debate.
