As a dyed-in-the-wool indie kid from about 85 onwards (14 y.o.) I loved Deacon Blue's debut 'Raintown' and the follow-up, 'Circus Lights'. A juxtaposition with The Smiths, Lloyd Cole and the Commotions, Wedding Present, Railway Children, McCarthy etc. Still have very little time for Simply Red mind
