BBC4 showing the Alan Hull story. I took over The Tap &.Spile in North Shields a year after he died & the band had drank in there for a while. Their caricatures were on the wall & there was a huge regard for him. Great to see Billy Mitchell & Ray Laidlaw talking about him #lindisfarne

Post Lloyd Cole gig in Glasgow last night, I visited The Pot Still - an incredible whisky pub on Hope Street. It was full at 1030 & I was hugely impressed by the staff knowledge as they dealt with a constant stream of requests. Great cask beer too #whisky
