Apparently the idea for the album is rooted through “someone who grew up watching adults gamble with his stability long before he could gamble with anything himself”, which is also why it features a picture of himself as a kid. The fun songs are funny, and his emotional songs hit hard. 8/10.

For hip-hop fans: I started listening to Baby Keem’s Ca$ino. It’s a short 40-minute listen and features different Keems. Half of the album feels very “early 2000s,” full of humble brags & sensual songs, the 2nd half is where Keem does what he does best: but he’s harder, more emotional, and raw.

Had a nice, calm weekend, watching some great movies & having fun playing Quarantine Zone. I highly recommend watching Nuremberg. It’s a harrowing, unforgettable portrayal of the Nuremberg trials, which remains a brutal reminder of why humanity must never forget, and why we said “never again”.
