@guelphlostpets.bsky.social We found this kitten/cat in the Vancouver Dr/William St area. Hungry and super snuggly. It’s cold, and he’s sleeping in our studio tonight. Help us get him home.

Doug Ford wants to put jets over Toronto's harbour.
Here's why that should alarm you.

We'd rather be in the bike lane! Is's not a snow removal from the bike lane issue, cutting back foundational services & closing infrastructure to save a murky $650Km and then proposing a bylaw to make it an annual thing before determining if the savings were really worth while is poor government.

One study found that two-thirds of people with long COVID showed signs of recent EBV activity. "The most compelling evidence involves Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)...bout 95% of adults carry latent EBV, typically without symptoms until an immune disruption such as COVID awakens the dormant virus."
The culprit for some long COVID cases, they suggest, might be other infections that accompany SARS-CoV-2.

A review published in eLife by 17 experts, including those from Rutgers Health, argues that co-infections acquired before or during COVID could cause symptoms to persist indefinitely for many people.

I present the “octopus tree”! This Hackberry tree was struck by lightening a number of years ago, and The Arboretum staff elected to leave it - and nature demonstrated its resilience and the tree continued to thrive. In a month it will vanish into a shrub form until the fall. #ArboretumGuelph

Behind the tree is a speckled blue sky with wispy cloud forms.Colour photograph of tree branches and leaves crisscrossing along the ground and reaching up to the sky.
