It's so much less worry when our dogs behave that way

I thought it would be a good first meet as Bowie is very non reactive. There wasn't any growling or barking at all!

Bowie and I met this gorgeous 12 week old german shepherd pup called Freya this afternoon for a play date. It was the first time they had met. Bowie was incredibly gentle!

This fabulous jackdaw is a regular visitor to my garden. I'm pretty sure that one of his grandparents was a magpie due to the patches of white on his feathers!🤔🤣

We met a gorgeous 4 month old german shepherd on our walk this morning. Tbf, he wasn't much smaller than Bowie! There's something very primal in the volume and intensity of a german shepherd and a husky good naturedly barking their good mornings at each other!😁🤣

Southwest water have been found guilty AGAIN of illegally dumping sewage. They've been fined nearly £8million! It needs to be that the ceo and board of directors are responsible for paying the fines instead of the bills being added to customer's bills! Renationalise now!🤬

This year has been a great year for blackberries and apples

My artist friend asked if i could collect acorns for her for a project. Saw loads of sweet chestnuts and beech nuts, but a grand total of 3 acorns!

Is it just me, or have my forest goblin friends noticed a distinct lack of acorns this year? I've seen hardly any on the ground, and the oak trees seem very bare. Could this be linked to the very hot summer and the drought conditions?🤔

Right then, being a living conundrum in that i used to teach technology, but am notoriously bad at using technology, time to try and connect my phone to the telly box thingy so I can watch the live stream of my niece's wedding! Yes I've googled it!🤣🤣🤣

I love my family! I had to make the difficult decision a couple of months ago that I wasn't physically well enough to travel across country for my niece's wedding. I've been sent the link to watch the live stream and a food box so I don't feel left out! Cream tea and pasties in a box!😁

Oh ffs! Don't you just hate it when you do a load of washing to discover there was a receipt in a pocket? Can't remember what the receipt was for, and can't read it now because it's disintegrated all over the clean washing!😁🤣

We met a gorgeous 7 month old kelpie pup on our walk this morning. Bowie was so gentle as him and the kelpie took it in turns to bow at each other before jumping into each other!

Well that was an exciting walk this morning when an escapee chestnut coloured horse without any tack galloped past us at Tamar Trails. I would guess he was about 2yrs old, and between 14 and 15 hands tall. Didn't know who to contact so I left a post on the local fb community page

My sleepy little hamlet is going to be busy later. First of all they will walk down to the holy well to bless the water, followed by the teddy tumble where local children make parachutes for their teddy bears, and they are dropped from the top of the church tower!

So the Bayeux tapestry is on loan to the British museum. Wonder how it will turn out as we all know how good the British museum is at returning artefacts from overseas 🤔😁
