We met a gorgeous 4 month old german shepherd on our walk this morning. Tbf, he wasn't much smaller than Bowie! There's something very primal in the volume and intensity of a german shepherd and a husky good naturedly barking their good mornings at each other!😁🤣

We met a gorgeous 7 month old kelpie pup on our walk this morning. Bowie was so gentle as him and the kelpie took it in turns to bow at each other before jumping into each other!

Well that was an exciting walk this morning when an escapee chestnut coloured horse without any tack galloped past us at Tamar Trails. I would guess he was about 2yrs old, and between 14 and 15 hands tall. Didn't know who to contact so I left a post on the local fb community page

My sleepy little hamlet is going to be busy later. First of all they will walk down to the holy well to bless the water, followed by the teddy tumble where local children make parachutes for their teddy bears, and they are dropped from the top of the church tower!

Bowie and I had a lovely walk this morning with my friend and her mahoosive german shepherd. Both dogs get on so well and turned into a couple of happy idiots, my friend bought home made flapjacks, so very much a win win situation!😁

Most people have robins and blue tits singing beautifully to let them know that the bird feeders are empty. This morning I had 5 jackdaws and 2 magpies squawking loudly! I said a polite good morning to the birds, and thanked Morrigan for sending her messengers!🙏

Bowie made a friend for life on our walk this morning. Got talking to a man in a camper van. Bowie did the whole "I don't get fed at home" look and conned the chap out of a rasher of bacon! For the next couple of months now, Bowie is going to be investigating van at Kitt Hill incase there's bacon!😁🤣

Bowie and I had a lovely walk this morning. Met up with a friend and her mahoosive german shepherd, Shiva. We had a gentle bimble around the old aerodrome at Yelverton in the mizzle! It was the first time that Shiva and Bowie actually played! It was wonderful to watch!

I've always respected Dartmoor, and I'm prepared for changes in weather. Checked the forecast before heading out. I was expecting possible light showers. 15 minutes away from the car it turned into gale force winds and monsoon rain! Got back to the car looking like I'd fallen in a river!🤣🌧🌧

Just watched some of the European gymnastics. These men and women are superhuman! Absolutely thrilling to watch! It's the beam work that gets me. I mean, ffs, I can trip over a flat floor, nevermind doing cartwheels and somersaults on a 4" plank of wood!

Wow! Bowie is a tit! Just had a majestic jackdaw visit the garden. Bowie thought the jackdaw was after the dog treat he buried last week. He chased off the jackdaw and dug up the treat and dropped it with a big clump of dirt on the living room floor! He looked very pleased with himself!🤣

Met a friend for coffee yesterday. He's a lovely older chap who's recently lost his wife. He saw this tshirt and thought instantly of me! I was very touched. However, there are 2 problems with the tshirt. It's too small and nearly completely see through! Lovely thought though!🤣

Bowie and I went to our happy place this morning. Love the River Walkham. I don't get there as often as I like as I find it a very physically demanding walk. Tripped over a tree root this morning, went completely arse over tit, and ended up very ungraciously in a bramble patch!🤣

This made me chuckle. Had a dogsitter for bowie yesterday. He popped out for a few seconds to get something from his car. Bowie decided he needed to be involved so the furry fucknugget jumped out the kitchen window to find the dogsitter! The dogsitter said they would be very happy to sit again!🤣🤣
