Victor Neuburg’s The Water Bearer collects nearly 100 stream-of-consciousness prose poems dictated to him by spirits in 1924. Unpublished & unknown outside of his family, this book is being published as a limited edition with a cover illustration that Austin Spare drew for Neuburg in 1915.

Some rare Rosaleen Norton ephemera: 2 issues of Forry Ackerman’s fanzine VOM (Voice of the Imagi-Nation) featuring cover art by Roie. What makes these remarkable is that they are from the mid-1940s, when Norton was unknown in the US. (For context: at this time Norton was still a budding artist. /1

“A Confluence of Magical Arseholes” is a musical comedy in the vein of Monty Python about W. B. Yeats, Aleister Crowley, and the Golden Dawn (or, I’d wager, the silly urban legends around the Battle of Blythe Road). It’s part of the Minnesota Fringe Festival, and showing on August 12, 15 and 16.
