How can the H2D, with all its sensors and cameras, fail to notice that the last job is still on the build plate? Instead, Bambu sent a nozzle clumping error after what could have been significant damage caused by attempting to print on top of the last job. #3dprinting

@ridwell.bsky.social I’m forever switching plastics that should be in one bag but were inadvertently placed in the other. So I engraved this handy sign in my workshop. Problem (largely) solved.
An engraved, green sign on the wall has the recycling logo in the middle with the (stretched out) word “Stretchy” on one side and “Not Stretchy” on the other.A recycling sign differentiating stretchy vs. non-stretchy recyclables sites above two filled bags hanging on a door.

Finally starting to watch #uvinkfest after an otherwise crazy week so far.
From a man’s sitting perspective, a guy sits with legs extended, a tablet playing the UV Ink Fest conference kickoff video, and a dog’s head resting on his lap. In the background, a waterline appears behind a deck railing and a field of trees.

Not even 0900 yet, and I’ve already been called out by a @microsoft.com employee for a snarky comment I left about ADO on the developer community forums. I’ll take the win.
In a screenshot of an online discussion forum, someone writes…

“If folks are wondering why we do not respond often to tickets, this is why...”

An embedded screenshot shows another comment left by Richard Gunther:

“But hey...we got a calendar update that doesn't look like anything else in ADO and still doesn't understand the concept of taking days off that cross iteration boundaries!” [followed by a Tada emoji]

The main post continues…

“For everyone else, I wish I had better news, we are listening but it is very unlikely that we will prioritize this suggestion in 2026.”

Microsoft somehow implemented the only tooltip pattern I've seen that pops up IN FRONT OF and steals the focus away from the thing you're trying to click.
A "more actions" tooltip directly overlaps the button it's describing, making it more difficult to click the actual button.

I tried the cutting tool attachment on my Bambu H2D this weekend, and I'm kind of blown away by its accuracy. Far better than the cutting tool on my xTool M1. Hoping to try the drawing attachment later this week. #3dprinting #2dprinting

I wasn't excited to see that this @marketplace.org swag is more of a trucker hat than a baseball cap. Whatever—it'll look good on a shelf. But what really bothers me is the syntax. If it's a sentence with a period, then capitalize it. If it's not capitalized, then why the period? #swaggrammar

Been thinking a lot lately about retirement. And the more I hear about companies (often unnecessarily) adopting AI, the more I feel that next step in my life can't come fast enough. I remember when my stepdad retired early because he didn't want to learn Windows. Now I kinda get it. This me now.

Yesterday’s embarrassing spectacle in DC lured me back onto Twitter to share my disgust with some specific politicians…
In a rare appearance on Twitter, I had some things to say last night: In a tweet to all, I say “I haven’t been around here for a few years, but I have a few politicians to tell off.” In a Reply to @LindseyGrahamSC praising Trump barely hours after applauding Zelenskyy, “Once again kissing the ring. You’re a traitor.” In a tweet to @marcorubio, “RESIGN!” In a tweet to @SenatorWicker who deleted a tweet from earlier in the day showing him shaking Zelenskyy’s hand, “Coward.”
