I haven't see the "controversy" , but the "funny" thing is, if those person would saw the amount of queer, trans, etc , that work in the artistic world, they would probably rethink most of their hobbies. Those communities (queer,trans,etc) have AMAZINGLY talented artist!

The worst case (about AI going rogue) that they are talking right now is that they will destroy human. Giving them funding potential is really not the good way to go 😂 (not that I believe or not that theory, but it will certainly fuel all those who do haha)

Gaming is in a strange place right now with high hardware prices, ownership of stuff issues, layoff, etc , but I feel that there is so many awesome games by talented people from big studio that went indie.. strange times 🫤

😮‍💨.. I think it's on the WAN show (LTT) that said, and I think it make sense, Blizzard announcement are for games in so many years from now.. but that was maybe to "protect" them, not really to show us stuff they are working on.

I'm wondering if the studio could make a better game if they were independant from EA. I find the state of the game sad.. for a game I used to play daily online with my friend (that and GOW!) on the 360. Went downhill (for me) since HUT was added. Now I prefere to play Tape to Tape with my 10yrs :)

Yup, totally agree! Still running 24.04LTS on my main laptop (8yrs old machine) and just installed 26.04LTS on my new server ("old" 2021 laptop from Mother in law). Just switched to SteamOS (Steam Machine) as my main pc we'll see how it goes 🤞haha

As other have mention, Vaultwarden (self-hosted) is a nice option when you're ok doing that. 1password was nice because of the SSH agent/SSH Key management. Proton now offer it too (haven't tested it yet). But I feel ya.. after close to 10yr with them it suck that we need to choose the less worst 🫠

That make me curious.. Are the people that watch it that wouldn't are really "using it". As in, are they watching it more for "entertainment" than to really learn stuff. I personnaly do that in a way, non descriptive title get watch for fun, but never if I'm looking for something/expect to learn 🤔

Like a family library (not an all or nothing) or sharing individual photo to members (single shared photo work with unique link, would be nice to have a tab with photo shared to you, currently only possible with album). I have not yet updated to v3, still on 2.5. Would migrate again no question!

Using it on a refurbish dell micro PC bought for 150$ about 6 months ago and it's great! I was on Synology photo before. Its running in docker behind a Tailscale sidecar and I backup manually (for now) with Restic to Backblaze B2 and to the Synology. There's some feature that would be nice to have..

Outside of indie games to help cash flow for small team, with digital version and disc that is almost never the full game on it (need masive update to work), I'm not sure I understand the need for folks to pre-order game like that 🤔 . Curious how crazy the sales # will be for this one

Back? Even if that was a mistake (it was reverse from what I understand?) they've been going at it for a bit .. that graph is from Steam data, but if gamers are using something else more, pretty sure devs are using it more (I've been personally full time linux since 3-4 yrs now).
