I walked past the V&A yesterday and - for the first time - noticed the bomb damage. There is a plaque that reads in part: THE DANAGE TO THESE WALLS IS THE RESULT OF ENEMY BOMBING DURING THE BLITZ OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR 1939-1945 #WW2 #History

We are very pleased to learn that the UK Ministry of Justice has dropped a proposal, made by the previous govt, to destroy print copies of post-1858 wills following their digitisation: bit.ly/3WaXud8 This follows submissions from 100s of historians, and others, opposing the proposal. #Skystorians
