looks very good and very stylish, but the tutorial is absolutely horrid and the gameplay feels very weightless, lack of lock-on is diabolical and it has a time limit for runs despite the lack of "true" defensive play, you still take damage when you parry and healing feels bad to do

Obviously there are good products that fail marketing bad products with good marketing but word of mouth and customer experiences when you do get people coming in are still important, even in FGs you have MK1 that sold really well but suddenly nobody wants to be involved in it ever again

only thing I'm going to say on the fighting game that was ten years in development is that I don't understand why people defend the "it's someone else's job to make it profitable" line from that one article product design involves understanding your customers, so it feels tone deaf to bare it out
