I love how my brain was like yes let’s wake up at 3a to witness all my internet going down, like there was a disturbance in the force. Also thanks spectrum for gas lightning me with your systems that I wasn’t down…

You ever buy a computer case then just before bed grab your fans you but six months ago, to realize that they will not fit in that case. So instead of going to bed to deal with it in the morning, you go find the box the plastic get it all ready for return and then go into research mode now it’s 2a

War dogs is quite a fun game after they figured all their launch issues but you really do have to be able to commit to at least a one hour timeframe per match or like what happened to us tonight in a three-way tie the match was almost 2 1/4 hours

Finally nailed down why my thumb button on my mouth doesn’t work turns out it was my KVM, of course, from discovery to troubleshooting to fixing and getting back online just in time to find that the war dog servers had gone off-line for the beta test. So now really excited to play functional again.

There is a special level of irony where Amazon will email me the exact prescriptions that I have but genericize that I ordered popcorn…..

I have a lot of complicated thoughts that I need to put into an actual article, but in the meantime: the odds that this cyclospora outbreak are limited to Taco Bell are low. And I'm concerned that a restaurant that voluntarily pulled products is now shouldering so much of the blame.

It is sad to think that my pixel seven the only reason it didn’t set my entire desk on fire from the bulging battery was the bulge pushing the phone off the charger

TLDR: 4i4's will not split into 2x 2i2 interfaces, because the clock will fall out of sync if all apps are not using it as the same rate, leading to voice lag, etc. Things I learn only after trying to do it :/

I do wish they had some way to have a local instance / world(s) where like a friend group could exist without being full world open, and maybe it does and I've just not jumped back in recently enough to see it, it has been awhile.

Finally at my pc, it was a long night, its the APC SMTL1500RM3UC + the expanded run time battery

000

RiC0_MD @ric0md.io · 23/04/2026

The main battery is about a month old and the expanded battery is a couple years old. You should have seen the power it sagged, spiked and the popped all my current generations ones handled it fine but that big guy didn’t like it at all. Although most my moderns are sine wave too

000

RiC0_MD @ric0md.io · 23/04/2026

Apc, one of the big guys but it’s about 6 years old now so it’s age is showing

RiC0_MD @ric0md.io · 23/04/2026

Hits 86f today and like it was on purpose my entire side of town lost power at 9pm. Worse yet my main battery backup didn’t like how it went down so my servers all went hard down :/
