Goodbye summer

The skunk is crouched forward- watching the toss- themselves in half a motley- checkered squares on one leg and red on the other- striped with colorful swirls down each leg from the knee. the skunk themselves is two-toned- white on the right side, black on the left, evenly divided down the middle until you reach their head where the white is like a face mask with bright sploshes of red beneath the eyes and on the cheeks just like a clown.

They too are wearing sunglasses on this bright sunny day.

the background is of a trailer worn in with all the signs of an alternative take on life. The interior, glimpsed through an opened door- shows a disco ball, cheetah print bed, and colorful draped beads hanging over the window. A big tree shades a few chairs surrounding a fire pit and opposite in the frame is a wood plank balanced on two empty rusted drums, riddled with bullet holes, with empty liquor bottles set on top. A target range.

A bicycle with a milk crate strapped to it is set right next to the open doorway.

The open expanse beyond is gated by massive electrical towers.

Dwarfed by a snowy hedge of colossal pure white clouds

and the bright and flawless blue sky above.

There was a split second in Avatar 3 where the evil whaling boat guy who got his arm cut off in Avatar 2 is being bitten below the torso by a whale, and for a brief moment I thought he was about to have his legs cut off and then reappear in Avatar 4 with even fewer limbs
