In January, I turned 37 😭 My existentialism about getting older aside 😅, here’s how to say “Happy Birthday” in #Æolian 🎂 estanv: compound noun of lexemes ESTE ‘birth’, ANV ‘day’ phlosar: intransitive verb ‘become fun’ of lexeme PHLOS ‘fun’ #conlang #windfolk #auran #linguistics #language

“Happy New Year!” 🎉 …or as said in #Æolian “Shall the new winds blow (for you)!” This phrase refers to the change of winds that signify the coming year 🍃 Typically, Windfolk celebrate this around Spring Equinox when Winter ❄️ turns to Spring 🌸 #conlang #windfolk #auran #language #linguistics

A little catch-up posting as I move some of my old material to this new account 😅 🎉 But, here’s “Merry Christmas” 🎄 in #Æolian As it’s a bit more secular in meaning, I suppose one could also say it for “happy holidays” or “seasons greetings” 😊❄️ #conlang #windfolk #auran #language #linguistics

Windfolk zodiac is based on one’s “birth cloud”: clouds & weather present at one's birth (e.g. calm/clear, stormy, precipitation, overcast, windy, ominous, cool, warm) ⛅️ My OC Saronaei's birthcloud is nacreous, as he was born during his country’s wintry winds 🌬️ #conlang #windfolk #auran #Æolian
