Also? Kate was my boss at FAFIA when Harper came into power, slashed Status of Women's budget by 60% and defunded any work related to advocacy. So, we were forced to close. It was the first of two times in my career this would happen. Please trust those us reading the writing on the wall.

I get that they want to appeal to a certain base in order to secure gov't power in the next election, but this is a shitty priorities message. Equality isn't "a nice idea, maybe later" option, and throwing it out the window isn't a winning strategy, ffs.
