#frightfall2026 day 14: Carnival. @retrosupply.bsky.social One day I’d love to add more detail to this! Had to call it done for my own sanity. #art #drawingchallenge #beetlejuiceanimatedseries #beetlejuicecartoon #retrosupply

Black and white drawing of Beetlejuice (animated series) wearing the striped carousel hat from the movie. The trinkets hanging from the hat are being ridden by Lydia, Jacques, and Ginger.

Digital drawing of a crime scene, mostly black and white - broken window with red blood splatters on the glass, and ‘rawr XD’ spray painted in red (possibly in blood?) next to it.

Yep…I drew Dolly and Tim as cats. 😸 All credit for the idea goes to @swheeties on threads. I couldn’t not draw it!! #art #dollyparton #timcurry #catdrawings #imissthem

A digital sketch of two cats representing Dolly Parton and Tim Curry. The left is fluffy and white with a fancy rhinestone collar (Dolly). The right is tall, thin and black with a pearl collar (Tim).

Screenshot of a post on Threads by user @swheeties that inspired the drawing:
“Dolly Parton was a fluffy white cat and Tim Curry was a slinky black cat”

Which version ya like better? First was a test print of yesterday’s stamps. Didn’t like it at the time, so I carved out the background to make the second…now I think it looked way cooler before. (why am i like this) (so much for not being a perfectionist) (hahahaha) #art #blockprint

First draft: white outlined lettering contained in black rectangles on white background. A series of messy stamps spell out “perfection is oppression”, zine-style. Letters are unaligned. Carved out of pink pearl erasers.

Final version: simpler black lettering on white background. A series of messy stamps spell out “perfection is oppression”, zine-style. Ink is intentionally smeared and letters are unaligned. Carved out of pink pearl erasers.

My perfectionist voice is VERY loud these days and I’m sick of it. Everything I make is ugly to me anyways…why not make it ugly on purpose? I’m gonna be out here creating, and nothing short of death will stop me. Not perfectionism, not capitalism, and especially not fucking AI. #art #stamps

Very messy lettering stamps that say “perfection is oppression”. The ink is smeared in a few places and the letters aren’t aligned (I’m taking a lot of inspo from zines these days). Made using a Pfeil linocutter, pink pearl erasers, and Ranger Archival Ink.

Today’s stamps were inspired by my fiancé @jonnynero.bsky.social. Almost three years together and it still feels brand new. ❤️‍🔥 Left = first attempt, Right = second. Big difference! Keep practicing, friendos!! #art #stampmaking #printmaking #blockprint #linocut

Who else is loving #TheVampireLestat so far? Couldn’t resist drawing Sam Reid in that shower scene 👀 Is the show faithful to the books? Not really. Is it still good? Yes. #annerice #art #fanart #digitalart #hubbahubba

Stamp carved from a pink pearl eraser: a smiling mouth showing upper and lower fangs.

Close-up of the carved eraser stamp, which looks way messier than the print. A cat sticker says “excuse me what the fuck”

A plate of eggs and toast are on my chest, while a gray and white cat is on my legs.

Okay…THIS is why I draw. I love how this turned out SO MUCH #beetlejuice #lydia #secrets

The cartoon versions of Beetlejuice and (adult) Lydia are sitting side by side in formal attire. BJ is leaning over and whispering something to Lydia, presumably an inappropriate joke. Lydia is covering her mouth and giggling.

Back on my Beetlejuice bullshit. Why did it take me so long to discover acrylic paint markers? They’re SO DANG FUN #Beetlejuice #Lydia #hugs

So, I have severe “just right” OCD and just started seeing a specialist. We’re doing exposure therapy. Step 1: I have to post more shitty art on here. (By “shitty” I mean “doesn’t meet my IMPOSSIBLY HIGH standards I set for myself”.) Anyway here you go. I hate this :) #Beetlejuice #ocdsucks

A scientific illustration of an armadillo by Matthäus Merian II, originally published in ‘Historiae Naturalis de Quadrupedibus Libri’ in the year 1657. This lil guy has a really dumb face but you know, at least he’s having a good time.

Ok so we have color changing lights and, as usual, I made the bedroom violet before going to bed. It’s my fav color and it relaxes me. Then I looked at these drawings again and audibly GASPED Ok I need sleep, goodnight~ #Beetlejuice #art #neon #gelpens #blackpaper #penandpaper #blacklight

Various drawings of Beetlejuice from the animated series drawn with neon gel pens on black post-it notes. Photo was taken under violet light so the colors look especially vibrant.

Went to NASA for the first time! I resolved to (mostly) avoid taking photos so I could be fully present and enjoy everything in the moment. I can’t recommend doing this enough. What an incredible day. I captured the important things though. 💓
