The Southern Bottlenose Whale is found throughout the southernmost parts of the Southern Ocean, including all along the Antarctic coastline. Both species of this Beaked Whale were named for the distinct “glass bottle” appearance of their rostrum, just like their distant dolphin cousin #WhaleTales
