FA is being pressured to remove adult content but they're holding the line. It's so important sites like this survive, please check out their post and help if you can

Somehow the gameplay is worse on the Sega CD version. Instead of the start button pausing the game, it's used to switch between punches and kicks. You only get to pause if you're using a 6-button turbo controller.

This feels positively ancient to me at this point, but here's a vid of the first full slot game I made character designs/animated on! #animation #furry(?)

Mine needed a new laser, new dampers and the spindle height adjusted, so I'm no help, I'm afraid. If you use Reddit, you might try posting your issue over at r/SegaCD or r/consolerepair

The game is Not Good, but just by the bonus content on the Sega CD version, I can tell a lot of heart went into it. Also the animated cut scenes are all right, actually?

Went and repaired a whole Sega CD just to play this (the earnest attempt of 5 or 6 people to make a fighting game)

A model 2 Sega CD sitting on a white desk. A screwdriver set and a multimeter are partially visible behind it

Ivan the Bear shows off his teeth on a small CRT TV screen. Beside the TV is a copy of Brutal: Paws of Fury for the Sega CD.

Another Mutant Wars OC, this time, the steel-jawed Jermaine, who apparently has no official color scheme! Today, he can be blue, as a treat.

A pencil drawing of a muscular, anthropomorphic blue lion with a white mane with a bottom jaw of steel, which sports tusks that curve over his muzzle. He has a harness with large spikes and a studded wrestling championship-style belt with a stylized black sun in the center. Below this, he wears a torn red loincloth covering ripped charcoal shorts.

Square panel depicting a lion with a steel jaw. Dialogue: "I'll just take 'em to the Aniverse. I'm sure Mutato will have fun torturing them." The panel has several stylize "HA"s depicting his laughter.

It's crazy how much goodwill a CEO could get if they said "I'm going to take only 1/4 of my salary so we can avoid layoffs this year." Decades of goodwill from doing this just *once*. For the company, the CEO, for rich people, etc. They don't do it though, which tells you all you need to know.
