Trump's war in Iran is perilously close to expanding into a major world war. The Houthis are backed by Iran, but like Iran they have connections with Russia and China as well. Meanwhile Trump is on the verge of siding with Russia against Ukraine, which means he has the US fighting against itself.

So, today alone: 12 killed and more than 300 wounded by the Houthis; Iran warned ships away from the UAE; a ship was hit by a projectile off the UAE coast; and multiple drones and missiles targeted airports in Saudi Arabia. Watched it yesterday. It is very well done and very, well, academic in its approach--especially in contrast to the AI DOC. It is a good reminder of the foundations of AI in limited computational definitions of intelligence rooted in large part in racist and eugenicist thought.

A useful task I would like an AI to perform would be to calculate how many minutes in a film certain objects appear on screen. ChatPro offered to search the web to tell me how I could make this calculation myself but TBH, I could have done that on my own.
