Three months since I got outta the psyche ward. In a sense, I feel like I did die in June, making that nauseating feeling of dread on New Year’s Day come true. I think I have improved and become more stable but it’s also disorienting trying to get used to this new self.

Staff Appreciation Day was on yesterday. Boss tried to pressure me into a pic with the free lunch (I stood my ground). Kept fishing for compliments by saying, "You know that you're appreciated right?" and "I have the best team". When not even 2mths ago I tried to off bc of them. I'm still enraged.

saw Kirin J Callinan at Lalala’s in Wollongong on the 17th. One of the best gigs I’ve seen, the cosy venue imo made it all the more special. Room Full of Pussy & Escape-ism opened, it was my first intro to their music, both brilliant. Meeting Kirin afterwards was nice, he gives a great hug (1/3)

We grew up poor, didn't have the privilege of having space to leave our shoes outside & would rather not risk the likelihood of having them stolen. I don't think enough people consider different circumstances. I hated feeling inferior.
