That MIC STAND in frame 2 is a design rejected in 1926. I need to see frame 3.5 where he is whacked on the bonce

It is never a bad time to have a crisp you will certainly not regret having a crisp

Do I know local-ish 2000AD fans who want to go see Rogue Trooper when it's out?

040

Never assume, because you could make an ass out of that I reckon

Ah I've bought a mic and a boom arm and am playing with a bassist I last played with 34 years ago. One synth is getting some use but only as a controller for Ableton's electric piano

I mean it was never in my voice anyway. It was in the voice of Reginald Rake, of Supertato, of Molly and her Jolly Brolly, of Barry The Fish With Fingers, the Evil Pea and you'd better believe they had accents. Why on God's clean would you skip this?

(I used English to correct the four autocorrect errors in this post)

Please make sure you're responsibly verifying everything your computer produces, as if the Intel floating point bug were now applicable to everything you do, and be sure to use the things you learned at a school to do so

Aye you too. Played with a bassist I'd not played with for 34 years on Sun, that cheered things up. Got a mic with a boom arm for the desk, and am trying to do at least a bit of playing and singing each day to try and get a bit of vocal range back. That's the joy rn.

I'm not feeling terribly *hopeful* at the moment. Just in general.

Jim was always very specific. And right. Set a reminder. I bet he's right...

I subscribe to PS Plus Extra (99 quid a year) and you'll get a massive catalogue that includes this and also Death Stranding, so (even though you can no longer play the games if you stop your sub) I reckon it's pretty good value if you just want to try out the system.

My late best friend used to say "it takes at least 17 months to really get the hang of a new place"

It depends if you like brutal fast-action roguelikes but I still stan for Returnal

ah damn, RIP Margaret Hamilton. she took safety-critical software engineering seriously, and got people to the moon and back. news.mit.edu/2026/margare...

Still worth a go, even now. It's nuts. Smooth, stylised, styl*ish*, OTT, expressive

Hang on, no, I might like Fallout 4 most, just the impossible scope of it, and the loneliness. But these days everything I'm into is just some flavour of roguelike.

I no longer think I have one. Although Breath of The Wild is special because E and I finished it together. That's less about the game than that experience.

*loved* the adventure games there, and Syndicate. MDK is class. But I was always bobbins at all flavours of Mario.

Frick I'm totally doing this now. Can get the compressed voice out to a real Bucket Brigade delay in a nearby case (Xaoc Sarajewo, really special little unit) and maybe the spring reverb next to it

And you search for this and you get any amount of horrible AI-generated consumer-facing info about audio interfaces, and absolutely nothing suggests the patchbay. I'm calling it. Internet's already dead.

There's a real friction when searching for pro audio solutions to work/digital problems. I want channel 8 (with a condenser mic) of an 8-channel audio interface to send audio to Google Meet, which only uses channel 1. So I have to send to an FX loop, out through a patchbay/patch back into channel 1.
