Does anyone else struggle to leave the hotel room at a con? My fursuit is brushed and laid out. I just need to put it on and walk out, but I have this overwhelming feeling that I don't belong here and I should go home. This seems to happen at every con I attend.

The pool parties at @lasvegasfurcon.org were simply off the hook. I felt like I was in the coolest party I’d ever seen, something you’d see in a movie. Animals everywhere, in the pool or sunbathing. And that was the first time I’ve ever been caught in a furry generated whirlpool! 📷: @rezwolf.com

I spent most of last week confined to my bedroom with the flu. Despite how much I hated my life for several days there, I gave thought to the fact that being sick and feeling miserable doesn't allow you to be rude and mean to people—especially to those who are trying to accommodate and help you.

I am so tired of people taking advantage of me, pushing me around, and being abusive. The people I'm spending Christmas morning with don't want me here—and the feeling is mutual. I wish I had my own place to call home and the toxic people in my life could wallow in their misery away from me.

I hiked two trails today, a total of 8 miles, climbing over 750 feet. A trail guide rated one of the hikes as "difficult" and read to allow at least 2 hours to reach the summit. I did it in 50 minutes. Suck that, trail guide. I'm feeling accomplished.

Since 2022, I've managed a divorce, breakups, lying, cheating, hospitalizations, arrests, suicide, and three job losses. I'm financially ruined; my best option now, sell my house. I don't think anyone understands the amount of time and work I've put into this place. I feel defeated and really sad.

Had a great time at #LVFC2024 this year! The hotel felt like one big furry college dorm, and while I'm not as much into partying, I enjoyed the chill and relaxed vibes! Main downside was the Saturday rain putting a damper on fursuiting that day, though it cleared up by night.

I hooked up my turntable and listened to a vinyl record for the first time in 20 years. Sure, the dynamic range and convenience doesn't match digital, but there's something about setting the needle down, hearing it drag along the groove, and seeing the music happen that feels organic.
